Happy New Year!

Wow, the holidays were a whirlwind! Between family, food, and a run-in with the stomach bug (ugh), there was no shortage of activity. Thankfully, a few great powder days on the slopes helped balance it all out.

With the festivities behind us, I wanted to take a minute to reflect on what an amazing year it’s been. 2024 brought some incredible opportunities to voice projects that aligned squarely with my interests and passions. I can’t wait to share a few of my favorites with you!

Sunlight Campervans

One favorite was this spot for Sunlight, Europe's number-one-selling motorhome and campervan brand. As part of their "Not Made for Standing Still" campaign, it celebrates an outdoor, adventurous lifestyle—something I wholeheartedly embrace! I loved the message, the visuals, and the testimonial-style script.

InStyle Magazine - “Behind the Seams” 

Another project close to my heart was narrating a behind-the-scenes look at the iconic costumes of the beloved New York City Ballet's Nutcracker for InStyle Magazine. This project combined my love for artistry, fashion, dance, and holiday nostalgia, and it was a joy to be a part of.

Personal Growth. Professional Impact

Outside the booth, I enjoyed digging into family roots to document the history behind my grandmother's tales of our Native American heritage (see blog post). This led me to pursue more projects that highlight the contributions Native Americans have made to our history... which earned me some accolades.

Audiobook Award

I'm honored to have received an award nomination for "Best Audiobook Performance - Factual" from OneVoice Awards USA for my narration of "Sacajawea: It's Her Story," about the young Shoshone girl who helped explorers travel west and became the first Indigenous woman to appear on a US coin.

Documentary Series

I also voiced an illuminating series of documentary videos for New York State Parks explaining Native American involvement in the Revolutionary War.

Looking back on the past year, I’m so grateful for the amazing projects and opportunities. From celebrating adventure and creativity to exploring cultural heritage, each project was special. 2024 was full of growth and discovery, and I’m excited to carry that energy into 2025.
