"Two very specific genres—
and my absolute favorite
books to narrate."
Shelley’s warm delivery, love of learning, focus on kindness, and deep respect for the land are exactly why these two genres have become her main focus as a narrator.
With Eastern Cherokee and Catawba roots on her paternal side, Shelley brings a personal connection to narratives that honor Native American voices and traditions. Her soothing tone and sense of wonder quickly draw young listeners in.
Shelley's narration of It’s Her Story: Sacajawea earned her a finalist spot for "Best Audiobook Narration" from One Voice Awards, USA.

Whether guiding young readers through their first stories or bringing cultural tales to life, Shelley approaches each project with heart, purpose, and a genuine love for storytelling.
